Account Executive (Charlotte, NC)

Summary Description: is looking for an Account Executive who is a ferocious self-starter with a passion for philanthropy, sales, and financial technology. Will be responsible for cultivating relationships with prospects and managing deal cycles in collaboration with the Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams.

  • Create and use various outreach campaigns to cultivate and build relationships with prospects
  • Conduct thorough, targeted searches and queries to research, qualify and generate sales leads that align with the company’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing and Operations teams
  • Initiate communications with new business prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Schedule virtual product demonstrations (demo)
  • Demonstrate a firm understanding of the prospect, their requirements, goals, and concerns
  • Understand the Amicus product and ability to clearly articulate the value
  • Manage deal cycles while “quarterbacking” responsibilities between internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain accuracy and information within HubSpot and Salesforce systems
  • Drive to close SaaS-model deals within forecasted timeframes



  • 2-4 years experience in a customer-facing sales environment, preferably SaaS to financial institutions or related industries
  • 2+ years experience developing leads in collaboration with marketing, as well as self-prospecting
  • Excellent organizational skills, particularly around managing information
  • 1+ years’ experience using SalesForce and HubSpot (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or other business-related majors strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in a start-up work environment (preferred)


Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

  • Works in an office environment involving sitting most of the time at a desk in front of a computer. The worker is subject to close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and viewing a computer screen to read and enter
  • Travel Requirements – Less than 10% travel is required to perform the essential requirements for this role.
